About the position
We are looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join our HR Tech team, where we build automation solutions for the QIC Digital Hub team, which are designed to streamline communication, eliminate routine tasks, and accelerate the execution of complex processes with fewer errors and greater efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with a cross-functional Scrum team
- Test current products and instruments, and identify deficiencies
- Plan and coordinate testing activities, thoroughly identifying and documenting bugs
- Suggest solutions to identify product problems
- Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
- Plan, create and manage testing documentation - checklists, test cases, etc
- Collaborate with Test Automation team to ensure sufficient test coverage
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer
- Hands-on experience testing various applications and APIs
- Proficient in working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Strong background in functional testing
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with various testing techniques (e.g., regression, smoke, exploratory)
- Experience using QA tools and test management systems
- Working knowledge of client-server architecture
- Theoretical understanding of software testing and QA methodologies
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- English proficiency at B2 level
